Last night's show at the Sidebar was absolutely amazing. The place was completely packed and ran out of Guinness and Yuengling before the night was through. The bands sounded fantastic and the crowd was great. Thanks for everyone who came out. Here is a link to some pictures

Paddy Rock Radio Satellite Petition
Recently, John Bowles of Paddy Rock Radio has been trying to get onto satellite radio, more specifically XM and Sirius, BUT the problem is that these stations are unsure if people will listen.
IF YOU WANT TO HEAR CELTIC ROCK/PUNK BANDS SUCH AS THE CHARM CITY SAINTS, DROPKICK MURPHYS, THE POGUES, FLOGGING MOLLY, ETC., PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION!
Also, feel free to pass this message and the url to the petition around on the internet, and of course, on myspace (in bulletins, group posts, messages, etc) and help make this dream a reality. If you help out, you might just be rewarded....
Think about it.... if you are in a Celtic group, don't you want to be on satellite radio where people can here you anywhere, all over the world? Also, if you are a fan, PLEASE UNITE WITH OTHER FANS AND HELP GET THIS ACCOMPLISHED!

Just wanted to post something quick because I just added a bunch of communities and people to this new lj. I set this up primarily to post info and updates about the band, local events of interest to those into ireland, the irish, celtic punk, etc, general bits of mayhem and the like. No aggressive promoting or anything like that, so don't sweat it. Please feel free to forward anything you may think someone else would take an interest in. |
